What is Engine Protection Cover

Engine protection is the warranty that promises to protect your car’s engine. It comes up with lots of add-ons that cover the expense incurred in repairing your damaged car. They cover the specific aspects of the car, which a regular car protection policy does not cover.

What is not Included in the Engine Protection Coverage?

1. If your car has been submerged underwater and has a wet engine, you shouldn’t try to force start your car. All the engines of a car are designed to completely shut down and not let the water in. So, when you try to start engine forcibly it will let the water in and cause great damages leading to claim reject.
2. The lubricating oil may enter the engine, in case you try to drive a car with a damaged bonnet. This situation will cause deliberate damages to the engine. Since it is a consequent happening and not due to the accident, the insurance claim may not be validated.
3. Add-ons come with a limited validity so, one claim per add-on is possible within the insurance policy period.
